We are pleased to offer lower-cost counselling with master’s-level intern therapists who are completing the final stage of their graduate training. These intern counsellors are closely supervised by skilled and experienced clinical supervisors. They have been carefully selected to work with our team due their philosophical alignment with the values of our practice as well as the rich blend of professional training and lived experience that they bring with them.

Our interns offer compassionate, neuro-affirmative support, with a particular depth of understanding in areas such as:
• Pediatric health care and complex medical journeys
• Parenting challenges across the lifespan
• Family dynamics and child development
• Executive functioning coaching for personal growth and resilience
* Women's health issues particularly mid-life

Working with an intern therapist can be a powerful and affordable way to access meaningful care while contributing to the development of future professionals in the field.

Sessions are offered at a reduced rate, with flexible scheduling and both in-person and online options available.

I’m an experienced family therapist that has worked as a therapist and clinical supervisor for over 20 years in the area mental health including both public and private settings.

A strongly held belief of mine is that we are all embodied, relational beings at our core - we are simply hard-wired this way. In order to shift the patterns that we are stuck in and move through our pain, I believe we are required to connect deeply and find integration within all the parts of ourselves. The health and integrity of our most sacred relationships depends on this, including the relationship you have with yourself. For this reason, I think we are best served when we work intentionally with the healing power of the body and always with the significance of our attachment relationships in mind.

I understand the complexity involved in finding effective, heart-centred solutions to our daily struggles. As a person that embraces my own imperfection, I feel that I bring practicality, integrity and a compassionate presence to the therapeutic relationship.

Areas of Specialization:

  • Parenting sensitive children/adolescents
  • Feeding/disordered eating problems in children, adolescents and adults

Hi, I’m Magdalena Over the past decade, I’ve supported people through growth, change, and challenge as a consultant and an organizational coach and now, as a clinical counsellor. My journey began in the non-profit sector, where I built a meaningful career working alongside individuals and communities. Over time, my focus evolved toward coaching leaders in areas like resilience, executive functioning, ADHD, authenticity, perfectionism, and impostor syndrome. The more I worked with clients, the more I was drawn to support them not just in performance or productivity, but in deeper, more emotional ways. This path led me to counselling, where I now help people find clarity, healing, and strength through life’s toughest transitions.

I work with individuals and couples who are navigating the in-between spaces: entering adulthood, changing careers, becoming parents, redefining relationships, or facing the complexities of midlife. These transitions can be disorienting, even painful, but they can also open the door to transformation. I know this, not just professionally, but personally. As an immigrant straddling cultures, a parent learning to co-parent and as someone who’s walked through divorce, career shifts, and life after loss, I get how hard it can be to hold it all together when life feels like it’s falling apart.

My approach is first and foremost person-centred, which means I show up with empathy, honesty, and deep respect for who you are and what you bring. I believe you already carry wisdom within you, and with the right kind of support, you can move through uncertainty into something clearer and more aligned.

In our sessions, you’ll find a compassionate, wholehearted space where your emotions, struggles, and strengths are met with genuine curiosity and care. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can show up fully and feel truly seen. My style is heart-centred, grounded, and growth-focused, so that together, we can make room for healing, insight, and meaningful change.
